Blue Detectable Plasters are made out of stretchy, washproof material that is easily detected in case of food contamination.
We understand the importance of health and safety in the work place, especially within the food industry. Our hypoallergenic, blue plasters are amongst the tools necessary to ensure the compliance with Food Hygiene Regulations (SI 1990 No. 1431).
Why blue?
Blue is not a colour naturally found in food ingredients, therefore it can easily be spotted. In the food industry, the colour combined with the ability to easily be discovered by a metal detector makes our blue plasters a customer’s favourite.
Why electro-magnetically detectable?
The plasters are metal detectable due to the aluminium strip under the lint pad. So if, for some reason, the plasters made it through without being seen, they are easily able to be picked up by metal detectors.
